Quick and Easy Garlic Butter

When I say quick and easy garlic butter, I mean quick and easy garlic butter.  Just like this post will be!

The longest part of this recipe is if you have to leave your butter out to soften as it needs to be at room temperature.

You can make this as needed, but I suggest making a batch and storing it in your fridge for whenever you need it.  You can use it to top vegetables, your favorite protein (Steak, yum!), or homemade garlic bread!  I don’t eat bread anymore; but, when I did I would just grab some fresh baked french bread, smear this butter on a slice, and eat it as is!  So good…

Damn… I miss bread.

This is another one of those “to taste” recipes, feel free to follow my measurements below or make alterations as desired.

  • 1 stick of unsalted butter, softened (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp garlic paste (or 1 clove of crushed garlic)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Video Demonstration (written recipe with pictures below):

There is music in the video, so mute your volume (or turn it down) if you don’t want to hear it or would get in trouble for watching a video at work.

1.  Place all ingredients into a bowl.

2.  Mix well.

3.  Well done!

4.  Use to top just about anything you like!  It can be stored in your refrigerator in an airtight container for several weeks.

I recently used it in my Bacon Wrapped Asparagus recipe.  If the garlic and Italian seasoning won’t conflict with other flavors, I highly recommend trying this butter to replace plain butter.

Do you love butter as much as I do?  Does anyone else have any great flavor profiles to share?  Let me know in the comments below!

Please don’t mind the mess.
